Building a Gaming PC for Under $2000

I'm on the hunt for a gaming PC build that can handle playing Fortnite at 240 fps and support Unreal Engine 5 for my coding and schoolwork. I've got a gaming laptop right now, but I'm not sure if I can use its parts in a desktop. Here's what I already have:
- 16 GB DDR5 5600 (laptop RAM)
- 1 TB SSD
- RTX 4050
- Ryzen 7 8845HS

I'd appreciate any help with buying or building the PC. I'm 15, so please be cool about it!

You could definitely reuse the SSD, but that’s about it. I put together a parts list that’s just under $2000. Here’s a solid build:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X - $313.99
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin - $35.01
- **Motherboard**: MSI PRO B850M-A WIFI - $139.99
- **Memory**: Crucial Pro 32 GB DDR5 - $325.99
- **Storage**: Silicon Power 1 TB NVME SSD - $139.99
- **Video Card**: PowerColor Reaper RX 9070 - $599.98
- **Case**: Montech AIR 100 ARGB - $69.90
- **Power Supply**: SAMA G750 750W - $69.99
- **Monitor**: ASRock 27" 2560x1440 180 Hz - $154.77
Total: **$1849.61**. Hope this helps!

You should know that laptop CPUs and GPUs are usually soldered to the motherboard, so you can't really use them in a desktop setup. Reusing the RAM and SSD is tricky too. The SSD can be reused if it's M.2, but laptop RAM (SODIMM) generally needs an adapter to work in a desktop. Just asking about your budget—are we talking about $2000 USD or another currency? If it’s USD, that’s a solid budget for a great rig!
