I recently built my first PC about three weeks ago, and right from the start, I noticed a strange smell of burnt plastic when I powered it on. At first, it seemed to run fine, so I didn't worry too much, but over time, the smell has decreased a bit. Now, I can only faintly smell it coming from the bottom back, near where the power cable plugs in. I'm using a 600W bronze level PSU, and the front display of the PSU remains cool to the touch. Is this something I should be worried about?

Have you tried to locate the smell to a specific component? It’s unusual, so I’d recommend checking your cables first. Unplug them one at a time and see if anything looks deformed. If you're unsure, posting a picture could help others assist you better.
It might be worth checking your thermal levels with software to ensure everything is running properly. Just keep an eye on temperatures—if things start to spike, that could be a sign of trouble.
What brand and model of PSU are you using? Knowing that could help pinpoint if it's a known issue.
