Can a hacker really delete a photo from everyone’s phone?

So, my friend is going through a tough time because some guy is sending around a fake edited photo of her, and he's using her contacts to spread it to her relatives and neighbors. He got access to her contacts after she shared an OTP with him once. I talked to a hacker who claims he can delete that photo from every phone it's been sent to, but he wants to charge me for it. Is this actually possible, or is he just scamming me? Any ethical hackers here who can confirm?

Honestly, it sounds like a scam. There's no way to delete a photo from someone else's phone gallery, let alone everyone’s. It’s just not feasible. The best advice I can give is to report this to the cyber crime police instead of dealing with that hacker.

Nope, not possible. Once a photo is sent, it’s out there, and no hacker can scrub the internet clean of it. I'd advise your friend to lay low and ask her friends to block him if they can.

That hacker is just looking to make a quick buck. There’s no way to erase digital copies like that. It’s best to stay away and find a better solution.

This hacker is definitely lying to you. Just a scam, man. Focus on making sure your friend feels safe and has support from her friends.
