I accidentally spilled water from my bottle in my bag, soaking my 2022 HP Spectre x360 laptop. At first, it seemed fine, but then I noticed it wouldn't charge. I thought the battery was water damaged, so I ordered a replacement and just installed it, but the laptop still won't charge. The power button light does come on when I try to turn it on, indicating it's completely dead. I'm wondering if the issue is with the USB-C charging ports or if there's a bigger problem at play here. Is there a way for me to troubleshoot or fix this myself before heading to a repair shop? Thanks for any help!

There's a good chance the motherboard got fried due to the spill. I'd recommend taking it to a repair shop; they might be able to help, but be ready for some potentially high costs.
It sounds like your logic board might be fried. Honestly, the best bet could be to consider getting a new laptop if the damage is severe.

Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely consider it!
