I'm a huge fan of the classic Zorro TV series from 1957 featuring Guy Williams and Gene Sheldon. With the recent advancements in AI, particularly Veo 3 now becoming popular for video generation, I'm curious if it's possible to recreate old shows realistically. I would love to write new episodes for a series that has long been forgotten. I know the voices won't be the same, and it probably wouldn't be in black and white anymore, but it would be amazing to see this become a reality. Does anyone know if this is something we can actually achieve with current AI technology?

I think it's plausible, but making it profitable is another story. AI is present in post-production but we're a long way from completely AI-generated shows. It'll take specialized prompts and a lot of work to get there.
It's really intriguing to think about how AI could revive our favorite shows. But there are also deep questions about the impact on society and whether we should try to bring back what's been lost. It opens up a whole debate about creativity and what makes a show special!
Yeah, creating a storyboard and script for a classic show is definitely possible! With Veo 5 coming soon, we might even see full episodes generated within a year.
Right now, AI is good for short clips but not quite ready for full episodes. I suspect in the next decade, we'll see major advancements.
If Veo 3 gains traction and is seen as a viable business model, we could see short videos being generated, which could eventually evolve into longer content. However, as of now, we're still figuring out the best ways to utilize it.
