I have my gaming laptop plugged into a long extension cord, which is connected to another extension cord before reaching the wall outlet. I've been experiencing stutters and sudden frame drops while gaming, and I'm wondering if this setup could be the cause. Any insights?

Generally, if your laptop is getting enough power from the outlet, the extension cords shouldn't affect performance. However, you might want to consider connecting via an Ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi, as that can improve stability in online gaming.
I doubt the extension cords are the problem. It’s more likely to be related to your GPU drivers. Try using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely remove the current drivers, then do a clean install of the latest ones.
Just to add to that, could it possibly be a temperature issue? Have you checked the thermal paste? If you haven't changed it in 2-3 years, it might be time to do so.
