Can Any USB-C Charger Work for My Nintendo Switch 2?

I'm looking for a second charger for my Nintendo Switch 2 and trying to get a better handle on how USB-C chargers work. The official specs for the Nintendo Switch 2 charger list its input and output capabilities, including that it's a PD charger with 60 Watts. I'm a bit confused about what it means for a charger to be a PD charger. Does it just mean it's a USB-C charger? Also, if I pick up any USB-C charger I find either lying around or on Amazon, will they most likely be PD chargers? Furthermore, if I want to ensure a USB-C charger can power a device, do I just need to make sure it has enough wattage? For example, to charge my Switch 2 docked, would I need at least a 60W charger? And for my iPhone, would I need at least 20W for fast charging?

Not all USB-C chargers are PD chargers, but most decent ones typically support at least some level of USB Power Delivery. It can be tricky since manufacturers don’t always clearly explain the specs, which can lead to confusion. Generally, plugging in a charger won’t damage your device, but the performance may vary. If you use a 60W or higher USB-C brick, it should charge your Switch dock properly.

Thanks! So any 60W or higher USB-C charging brick should power the switch dock just fine?
