Hey everyone! I'm looking for some help. I have a Samsung A24, and it doesn't come with the built-in screen recorder app. Is there anyone out there who could extract the APK file for the Samsung screen recorder and share it with me? I used to have a version from older Samsung devices, and it worked fine until I updated to Android 16 and One UI 8. Since then, it stopped functioning. I've tried extracting screen recorders from other brands like Xiaomi and Infinix, but those either fail to install or just don't work. I know I could grab a third-party app from the Play Store, but I'd really prefer the official Samsung version since it's ad-free and better for privacy.

You might have some luck extracting it directly from a Samsung device that has it pre-installed. Just make sure it matches your Android version!
I tried searching for various package names related to "screen" and "recorder" on my device. I found a package called "Samsung Capture" but I'm not sure if that's strictly for screenshots. I extracted the APK but couldn't share it directly here; I put it on Limewire instead. Here's the link: [Limewire Link](https://limewire.com/d/WmsMt#rkFAx1Qdku). I’m on a Samsung A34 5G with Android 16.
Do you know the package name of the screen recorder? It might help with the extraction process, just in case someone can pull it for you.
Unfortunately, I don't know the package name. Have you tried looking it up?

The package name is com.samsung.android.app.smartcapture, if that helps!
