I'm looking to create a clear career roadmap as a complete beginner in programming. I've heard about boot.dev and I want to know if completing this program would actually equip me with the skills necessary to land a job.

I think learning programming really requires practice, similar to how you'd learn an instrument. While I'm not sure how thorough boot.dev is, be prepared to invest thousands of hours in practice beyond just the coursework to be job-ready.
I expect the journey to take a lot of hours too; it's just hard to see the whole picture right now. I'm really keen on making a career change and want to head in the right direction for the next few years.
