I'm planning to build a PC featuring a Ryzen 5 5500 and an RTX 3050. While these specs are on the lower side due to my limited budget, I'm open to suggestions. My main question is whether I can hit 240+ FPS while playing games like Valorant at 1080p. Additionally, if I choose to upgrade to a better CPU like the Ryzen 5 7600X or Ryzen 5 8400F paired with GPUs like a 1660, would I still achieve high FPS in Valorant since it's a CPU-bound game?

Honestly, the RTX 3050 isn't the best value right now. A used RTX 2070 Super could give you better performance for a lower price. If you're aiming for 1080p and 240Hz gameplay, consider the R5 7600X. You can hit 240 FPS even with something like an RTX 2060, but I'd steer clear of GTX cards since they don’t support DLSS for modern games.
Are you thinking about buying all new parts? Also, which RTX 3050 are you looking at—the 6GB or 8GB version?
I’d suggest getting a Ryzen 5 3600 with at least an RX 6600. The 3050 isn't great for gaming performance.
So, if I go with a 2060, is it fine to pair it with the R5 7600X? Or should I look for a cheaper GPU?
