I'm looking to build a powerful PC capable of running games like Microsoft Flight Simulator and other graphically intensive titles. I want the system to also support PCVR. My budget is around $600, but I'm open to spending an extra $50 to $75 if it significantly boosts performance. I don't care about aesthetics—performance is my main priority!

To be honest, unless you spend more, you're looking at a low framerate experience on high settings. You might get by if you lower options, but it won't be great.
Don't let them discourage you! It's totally possible to build a decent PC for that price. There are plenty of guides on YouTube that can help you find good deals, even if RAM prices are high right now.
You might want to check out the site I linked; they have builds starting just over $600 that can get you gaming. Just aim for some reasonable tweaks on the specs if you can stretch the budget a bit!
Honestly, building a gaming PC with that budget is going to be tough. You might end up with a machine that's hard to upgrade or struggles with performance, especially for high-end games.

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll consider adjusting my expectations if I go for a lower budget.
