Can I Charge My Laptop Without a Charger?

I'm using an Acer Spin SP111-33 (Acer Spin 1) and I recently moved to a new country, but I left my charger back home. I'm not comfortable asking my mom for a new one, so I'm trying to find a way to charge my laptop until my next trip back. Is there a way to charge it without a charger? Any tips would be super helpful!

Unfortunately, you can't really charge your laptop without a charger. Your best bet is to buy a new one. If you’re in the US, they’re pretty cheap on eBay. Otherwise, look for local computer repair shops—they often sell used chargers too.

Have you checked if your laptop supports USB-C charging? Some laptops do allow you to charge via USB-C, but it might be slow. I sometimes use a USB-C charger for my Surface laptop when I forget the original one, but just a heads up, it takes a while!

If you really need a quick fix, you could look into getting a docking station that allows you to connect a different power source, or try asking someone nearby if they have a compatible charger you can borrow. If not, you're stuck until you get a new one or find a way to get your old charger back.

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll see if I can borrow one.
