I've got a bit of a situation here. A former employee used his company cell phone number to register an Apple ID, and now that we've reassigned this number to a new employee, we're running into issues. The new guy can't create an Apple ID because that number is already linked to the old one. Is there any workaround to set up a new Apple ID for him so he can download apps on his iPhone?

You technically can use the same trusted number for multiple Apple IDs, but here’s the catch: if you're trying to create the Apple ID on an iPhone, it'll give you an error. A quick fix is to use a PC or Mac instead. Just head over to icloud.com to create the new ID there.
That's interesting! I thought there’d be a limit. It's good to know that as long as you make the account creation through a PC, it should work out fine!
