I recently discovered that my i9 12900kf CPU is bent after installing a new water cooler. Now, my PC won't even boot – the fans start up and then abruptly shut off. I'm really concerned about this! Is replacing my CPU the only solution, or is there a way to salvage it?

It sounds like you might be dealing with pressure from the cooler's mounting. If that's the case, you could try loosening the screws. Just make sure you're tightening them evenly; don't crank one side down too much before the other. If the CPU is only bending under pressure, a contact frame could help, too!
