Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on getting my iPad screen replaced. I have AppleCare and it's a 7th generation Mini. I'm about to go on vacation to Florida starting this weekend, so I'm wondering if I can get the screen fixed quickly at an Apple store while I'm there. Any insights on how long it might take?

From what I know, Apple does whole unit replacements for iPads. If they have a replacement in stock at the store, it shouldn't take too long to get it sorted out. However, keep in mind that this kind of repair option is mostly for iPhones, Macs, and Watches, so it could vary with iPads.
Newer iPads do have screen replacement options, but it depends on your model. If yours qualifies, you might face one of two outcomes:
1. They might have to send your iPad out for repairs; this usually takes about 5-7 business days.
2. If it's eligible for an in-store replacement, they’ll find a new one for you right away, assuming they have stock! They'll help you set it up before you leave, but if id they don't have it, they can order one, and it'll take a similar time frame. Just check in with them when you get there!
