I've damaged my laptop's hard drive, and it's hard to operate it from a remote area without any nearby repair shops. I really want to learn programming and data structures in the next two months. Is it possible to code on a tablet or use any online software for this purpose?

Don't forget to create a GitHub account! It’s super useful for storing and managing your code securely.

If your hard drive is damaged, you might not want to try saving your code there. I recommend checking out VS Code online; it offers similar features and lets you save your work to the cloud, so you can access it once your laptop is fixed. Here's the link: https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/setup/vscode-web.

Thank you so much for the suggestion!

VS Code online is a solid choice. If you're looking for something free and a bit lighter, you could also check out PythonAnywhere, which is good for online coding. Another lightweight option is https://www.online-python.com, which could be really helpful for beginners.

You could also try https://replit.com/signup as another online coding tool. It's pretty user-friendly and great for getting started.

There are definitely options out there, but honestly, fixing your laptop’s hard drive can be pretty quick and straightforward. If only I was closer to help you out! Typically, you just swap in a new disk and reinstall Windows. In the meantime, if you want to learn Python online, there are some great web tools you can use.

How much does a new disk usually cost? I’ve heard Linux can be a pain to run off USBs for too long.
