Hey everyone, I'm wondering if using my personal computer to log into Monday.com, while authenticated through Microsoft and DUO, could get me flagged by IT. Both my personal and work computers share the same IP. I'm the webmaster for our marketing team and I have access to various tools like Wistia, where I can monitor active sessions and device info. I'm curious if Monday.com has similar features and if SSO would alert IT to my logins on multiple devices. I don't see any unusual programs on my machine aside from the Azure Monitor Agent, which I believe is related to our SSO. Any thoughts?

It really depends on how your organization has set up SSO. If they manage devices through Intune, they will see that you logged in from a non-managed device. Just because they can see it doesn't mean they care enough to flag it, though.
Thanks for the insight! We use Azure for our SSO, so I'm curious if that logs details about device usage too.
If you have to ask the question, maybe it's best not to do it. Your IT department might spot the login from your personal device, and it could raise some red flags if they're monitoring.
If you're stepping outside of your company's policy, I’d advise against it. IT can definitely tell, even if nothing seems to be flagged right away. They might not actively monitor, but it'll show up eventually if they check.
Honestly, why are you not using your work computer? If it's policy for work to be done on approved devices, you might be risking it. But if you’re comfortable with your setup and have been doing it well without issues, that's one thing.
Right? I’ve been juggling WordPress on my personal setup since it enhances my workflow. Just make sure it aligns with your company’s guidelines.
Exactly! I feel that most policies are vague and folks often use personal devices for work - especially casually.
Best bet is to check directly with your IT team. They can tell exactly which device was used for login and what their policies are on personal devices. If they don’t prohibit it outright, then you might be in the clear.
Good to know! I guess it really varies by company policy.
