Can I manually upgrade my Bluetooth version?

I recently bought a TP-Link UB500 Plus Bluetooth adapter that supports version 5.3, but when checking with `inxi -E`, it shows that I'm stuck on version 5.1. I'm dealing with issues like high latency and crackling audio when I connect my Bluetooth headphones alongside a game controller. Plus, I don't have access to the aptX codec, even though my headphones are compatible. Is there a way to manually update the Bluetooth version? I'm using Endeavor OS with KDE Plasma.

Make sure you're running the latest version of your OS and that all your drivers are up to date. Sometimes, updating the system can bring in newer drivers that support the latest Bluetooth versions. Additionally, check if there are any firmware updates available for your TP-Link adapter that might help resolve your latency issues.

It's tricky to manually update Bluetooth versions as it typically depends on your hardware compatibility and the drivers provided by your OS. If your adapter is showing 5.1, it might not support 5.3 fully yet, even if it technically could. You can try to look into alternative drivers or settings in your Bluetooth configuration that might help optimize your connection and improve performance.
