Can I message Apple Support via iMessage from outside the US?

I'm trying to get in touch with Apple Support but can't find a direct number for any country online—just a user manual that isn't helpful. I really need to know if I can contact them through iMessage to a US number without incurring international message fees. Also, if anyone knows the US support number, that'd be great too!

I get it, online support seems to send you in circles sometimes. If neither the manual nor booking an appointment works for you, try reaching out on social media. Apple usually responds quickly there and you might skip some of the hassle.

Yes, you can definitely use iMessage to contact Apple Support! Just keep in mind that most toll-free numbers are only valid within their respective countries, so even though you're messaging a US number, you'll need to check whether any applicable fees apply. If you're looking for the best way to contact them, try downloading the Apple Support app. The main number for support in the US and Canada is 800-MY-APPLE. Hope that helps!

Instead of looking for a direct number, you might want to use the online support options. Go to the Apple Support page and select your region to access live support. But if your region isn’t listed, that could be an issue. You might also need to tell them what your problem is since that could help them direct you better.
