Hi everyone! I'm in the process of building my first gaming PC and would love to get your thoughts on the cooling options for my setup. I'm considering either an AIO (All-In-One) liquid cooler or a traditional air cooler for my AMD Ryzen 7 5700x paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti. I've been doing a ton of research, but I feel like some specific questions are better answered by you experts. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

For your setup, I'd recommend going with a good air cooler. They are really effective and often come at a cheaper price without the risks of leaks or pump failures that can come with AIOs. Plus, replacing a fan when needed is way easier than dealing with liquid cooling issues.

I agree! Air coolers like the Phantom Spirit are super solid for AMD CPUs. You won't need liquid cooling for a Ryzen 7 unless you have a specific case setup.

Air coolers are definitely sufficient for the Ryzen 7. I use a dual tower air cooler and it keeps my temps around 70°C even during heavy loads. Liquid cooling is overkill for most users unless you're really pushing the limits with overclocking.

That sounds great! It's comforting to know air cooling is enough for gaming and video editing.

Honestly, unless you're in a super compact case where air coolers won't fit, go with air. It's more cost-effective and there’s no hassle with maintenance like you have with AIOs. It’s really just a matter of aesthetics if you prefer the look of an AIO.
