I'm looking to see if it's possible to mix two different RAM kits, specifically Team Group Vulcan Z 8GB and Team Group Elite 8GB, both at 3200MHz. I've got a motherboard (A520M Pro VH) and a Ryzen 5 5600G. Is it safe to combine these two, or will it cause issues?

Generally, you're good to go if the timings are the same or really close. It’s not the most recommended scenario, but I’ve run different kits without problems before. Just give it a shot and see how it works out! Good luck!
Mixing RAM can work at base speeds, but for XMP, things get complicated. If they share the same XMP profiles and subtimings, you could get better performance with four sticks versus two. Just know that if one kit is dual-rank and the other is single-rank, you might run into issues with XMP.
Honestly, I’d recommend against it. Mixing different kits can lead to timing issues, especially on an AMD setup, which doesn’t handle mixed RAM as well. You might want to consider just getting a matching stick to avoid troubles.
You can mix them, but don't expect XMP to work perfectly. You might have to do some manual overclocking to reach higher speeds, but don't expect it to perform as well as identical sticks.
If both kits have the same speed and CAS latency, you should be fine. They should run together, but I wouldn’t count on getting the best performance out of mixed kits.
