Can I Mix Different RAM Sticks Without Crashing My PC?

I've got a pre-built PC with two DDR4 8GB Kingston Fury RAM sticks running at 3200 MT/s. I'm thinking about installing two more sticks of XPG Adata 8GB DDR4 RAM at 2800 MT/s, but when I tried to add them, I ended up with blue screens and my PC kept restarting. After I took the XPG sticks out, everything went back to normal. Is there a way to make these XPG RAM sticks work alongside my Kingston ones, or should I just buy more Kingston sticks to avoid problems?

Try disabling XMP in your BIOS settings; that might help. Sometimes the overclock settings can cause compatibility issues when mixing RAMs.

I didn’t find an option to disable XMP, but I switched the XMP profile to auto and that fixed it! Thanks a ton!
