I'm curious if it's possible to buy Apple certified refurbished items directly from a physical Apple Store. I've heard that they only offer these products through delivery or pickup services and not in-store. Is that true?

No, you can’t buy Apple refurbished items in person at the Apple Store. They typically don’t stock those products in physical stores. You can only find them online.
Yeah, the stores mainly keep refurbished items on hand for AppleCare replacements. Other than that, they're not available for in-store purchase.
It's really only an online thing. If you're trying to avoid ordering online, what are your reasons?
I'd prefer to pay cash if possible.
