Several years ago, I forgot the passcode for my iPhone 5s and haven't reset it yet because I'm still hopeful I can recover my photos. The phone was linked to my uncle's Apple account, but he doesn't remember his login details and isn't concerned about it anymore. Is there any chance to recover my pictures? I think the only option might be through iCloud, but I'm not sure if that's even possible.

Unfortunately, if you can't access the phone, it’s really tough to recover anything from it. The security on iPhones is pretty tight for reasons related to privacy and data protection, so if accessing the phone were possible, it would create significant issues for user security.
I get that, but they say information never truly disappears. I might just keep looking for options!
