I'm planning to get an Apple gift card from Saudi Arabia, but I don't live there. If I change my Apple ID to the Saudi region, will I be able to redeem the gift card and get the balance? Once I redeem it, can I use the balance normally? Is there anything I need to verify before entering the gift card, and is it safe to do this?

You can switch your Apple ID to the Saudi region, but keep in mind that you'll only access apps available there, and you'll need a Saudi address to make the switch. It's generally better for your friend to buy you a gift card from a region where you actually reside.
So, do I still need a Saudi address even if I'm just redeeming a gift card?
Just a heads-up, if you change your region to redeem a Saudi gift card, you won't be able to use that balance if you switch back to your home region, and Apple might flag it as suspicious activity which could lock your account.
What if my country doesn't have gift cards? Is there another way to get around this?
Switching back and forth might work for redeeming the card, but it can lead to other issues with apps functioning properly if you revert to your usual account. Just keep that in mind—things could get tricky.
Yeah, I get that. But I switched regions for other games before, and they still worked when I went back. Do you think I’ll be okay?

Well, I can't get any gift cards in my country at all, so this is my only option.
