I have a pair of Bose Bluetooth noise-canceling earphones that I absolutely love—especially the noise-canceling feature, which has been a game-changer for me. However, after using them heavily for about two years, the battery life on the right earphone has plummeted to only 10-20 minutes. I'm wondering if the batteries can be replaced or if I'm just destined to buy a new pair every couple of years. It feels so wasteful, so I'm hoping there's a way to fix this!

Unfortunately, replacing the battery in most Bluetooth earphones is pretty tricky since they're often glued together. It’s designed this way to keep them compact, but it makes it nearly impossible to service them without causing damage. You might have to consider getting a new pair after all.
If you’re open to it, you might want to look into over-ear headphones. Some models do come with replaceable batteries, which could save you some hassle in the long run!
Sounds like planned obsolescence to me! So wasteful.
