I'm interested in using Linux as my main operating system on my gaming rig, but I still want to play certain games that run better on Windows. So, I'm considering a dual-boot setup. Here's what I'm thinking about: I have a 500GB boot drive that I want to split between Windows 11 and Linux (likely Bazzite). Additionally, I have a 4TB hard drive intended for media storage that both OSs can access, and a 4TB NVMe SSD for games that I want to be available on both operating systems through Steam. Is this setup feasible? If not, what's the best way to achieve something similar?

I'd recommend letting Bazzite have sole control over one SSD rather than trying to micromanage. Its partition layout is unique, and you'll need to do some customization for it to work properly. I'd set your big NVMe SSD as the main Bazzite drive and install games that work on Linux there. Just a heads up, the Bazzite developers strongly advise against running games from NTFS on Linux as it can lead to issues. Using NTFS for your media drive is fine, though.

Good deal, thank you for the help!
