Can I Transfer My Storage to a New PC Without Issues?

I'm building a new PC and I want to use my existing storage instead of buying new drives since they're quite pricey. However, I've heard there might be complications with this transition. Is it possible to use the same drives? If so, what do I need to do for them to work correctly in the new setup? Also, I have a lot of videos and images saved on one of my SSDs; will those be erased if I need to reset it?

You can plug in your drives without any issues, but to prevent conflicts, it's a good idea to uninstall any drivers related to the old hardware while it's still in the old PC. Also, keep in mind that swapping motherboards will require Windows to be reactivated. If you signed in with your Microsoft account, you should be able to get it sorted quickly. A clean install of Windows is recommended for best performance, but your other drives' data should remain intact as you’d only wipe the C: drive. Just remember to back up any important data from C: before proceeding.

Would it be worth testing it out before dropping £120 on a new Windows license?
