I recently replaced my old hard drive, which had Windows activated, with a new one. However, now I'm stuck without activation and the watermark is super annoying. I want to know if there's a way to transfer my old Windows installation from the old hard drive to my new one. I'm not very tech-savvy, so any help would be appreciated!

You can definitely clone your old drive to the new one using software like Clonezilla. Just make sure to boot into your old drive first, install the cloning software, and follow the steps to clone your data over. Once that's done, boot up your new drive.
Make sure your old Windows key is linked to your Microsoft account. If it's not, transferring the files won't activate Windows on the new drive, even with the clone.
Cloning should work fine! Just keep in mind that if you've replaced other components in your PC, Windows might think it’s a different system and could cause some activation issues. I've had that happen after swapping out my GPU before changing my hard drive.

Yup, just remember these steps: 1. Boot from your old drive, 2. Install Clonezilla, 3. Clone to the new drive, 4. Boot from the new drive. Also, keep your old drive as a backup just in case!
