I'm wondering if I can upgrade my Windows 10 to Windows 11 for free. My PC is about 6 years old and here's what I've got: an Intel i7 7700 processor, 8GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM, and an AMD 5700 XT graphics card. Just to clarify, I did upgrade to the 5700 XT recently. Can anyone help me understand if I can make this upgrade?

Yes, you can upgrade for free, but it depends on your system's compatibility. The 7th Gen Intel processor you're using is technically one generation too old for official support. If you really want to upgrade, you might find a way around the requirements check, but be ready for some issues along the way.

Microsoft is starting to allow installations on unsupported hardware, but they'll warn you that you won't receive future updates. So, it's kind of like running Windows 10 without the latest features.
