Hey everyone! I just got an Asus Prime Z370-P motherboard, and my HDD with Windows has unfortunately died. I'm looking to make a mini upgrade and noticed that my user manual states I have 2 M.2 slots on my older motherboard. Can I buy 2 M.2 SSDs and install Windows on one of them? I'm curious if modern M.2 SSDs would work well with my motherboard since they seem to be much faster than my current setup. Also, what specific M.2 SSDs would you recommend for this upgrade? Thanks!

You’ve got some great options for your upgrade! I’d recommend checking out the Samsung 970 EVO Plus, Western Digital Black SN750, or Crucial P5. These drives will really give you a performance boost over your old HDD. Just install your OS and important games on one of them to maximize speed – they definitely outshine typical SATA SSDs and HDDs!

Should I go for two different SSDs, or is it better to stick with the same brand for both? Just curious!
