Can I Upgrade My Old Computer to Windows 11?

I built my computer about 6-7 years ago, and I just found out it's not compatible with Windows 11 because it lacks secure boot and TPM 2.0. Here's my setup: a Gigabyte Z390 UD motherboard, i5-9600k processor, 40GB of RAM, an RX 470 graphics card, and a SK hynix Platinum P41 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Is there a way to make this work for an OEM build? If I decide to build a new computer, can I just transfer my M.2 SSD and install Windows 11 without issues? Will I need to reinstall Windows 11 or can I keep the current setup?

You can actually enable TPM and secure boot in your BIOS settings with a bit of tweaking. Just make sure your BIOS is updated to see those options! If you still have issues, check that CSM is disabled when switching to secure boot. By the way, your SSD should work flawlessly in a new build, but it’s usually a good idea to do a fresh install of Windows 11 for optimal performance.

Is the BIOS setup straightforward? I’ve never done anything like that before, and it sounds a bit intimidating.
