Can I Upgrade My Storage with an SSD?

Hey everyone! I'm not really tech-savvy and I'm running out of space on my PC, especially for games. I currently have an Asus Prime X370-Pro motherboard with one SSD and one hard disk already installed. I know I can't add another M.2 SSD, but I'm unsure if there are other options for adding more SSDs. Could anyone help me figure out what my options are? Thanks a lot!

It sounds like you've got a good setup! The Asus Prime X370-Pro has one M.2 slot and 8 SATA ports. So, yes, you can definitely add a SATA SSD to give you more space!

You can get a 2.5" SATA SSD, though keep in mind they can be slower than the latest options, topping out around 500 MB/s. If you want something faster, another idea is to use a PCIe to M.2 adapter. Just be cautious, as compatibility can vary. Not every motherboard supports that setup, so double-check your specs before buying!

Hey, could I get a 3.0 SATA? I found a link that says it supports 3.0 PCIe.
