Hi folks, my brother-in-law just got himself an RX 9060 XT to upgrade his Nitro n50-610 pre-built PC. I'm wondering if this GPU will be compatible since the motherboard is proprietary. He's got a 500W power supply, which is slightly above the minimum requirement for the RX 9060 XT. It looks like the dual-fan setup on the new GPU should fit. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this!

Don’t forget to uninstall all the old graphics drivers before putting in the new GPU! You’ll want to use a tool like DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to make sure everything’s clean. Your brother-in-law has a GTX 1660 now, right? You definitely don’t want any conflicts when switching to the RX 9060 XT.
Upgrading to the RX 9060 XT can be tricky with the Nitro n50-610. Since the motherboard is proprietary, you might face some challenges. However, make sure your PSU is actually powerful enough—while 500W is technically above the minimum, it could be pushing it. If the PSU isn’t ATX compatible, you might not be able to upgrade it either, which would limit your options. You really need to keep that in mind before going ahead with the installation!
So is the 500W PSU not enough for the RX 9060 XT then?

Yeah, we plan on doing that! Just making sure everything is set before we swap cards.
