Hey everyone! I'm currently running an i7 9700K with a 500 watt power supply. I'm thinking about upgrading from my RTX 2060 to a GTX 1080 Ti. Would that work without causing power issues?

Not all 500W power supplies are bad, but most are. It might just work with your i7 9700K and 1080 Ti, but I'd really want to know which brand/model your 500W PSU is.

So uhm i can barely read it but it says POWER species 80 plus. I really dont know.

It really depends on your overall setup. The minimum recommended wattage is 600W, but some people manage with 550W. Your CPU is only 65W, which helps, but consider everything else: How many RAM sticks do you have? What about drives and peripherals? All those add up. If your PSU isn't high-quality, you might not even get a full 500W, so be careful!

I have 2 sticks of DDR4 (8GB each), 4 RGB fans, 1 single-fan AIO, a keyboard, and a mouse.

You should be fine as long as you don't overclock the GPU beyond 140W. Just a heads-up though, NVIDIA is stopping support for the 1080 Ti soon.

All I want is a good graphics card that beats the 2060 and doesn't cost $4000!

While the GTX 1080 Ti offers only about a 10% performance boost over the 2060, it does draw more power and isn't going to have long-term support. Just keep that in mind before you make the switch!
