Hey everyone, I've heard mixed things about using the 9800X3D on ASRock motherboards. Supposedly, there were issues, but I also came across reports that the BIOS updates might have fixed them. I'm contemplating whether sticking with this motherboard is wise for a month given the frequent problems I'm experiencing. If I switch to another B650 board from a different brand, would that resolve the issues? What's the latest consensus? Did the problems get resolved after the updates?

It’s tricky since ASRock hasn’t officially recognized the issues with the 9800X3D on their boards. It seems like some users on the ASRock subreddit are still experiencing problems, so it’s still a gamble. If you currently have the board, you might be okay taking that risk, especially since ASRock and AMD would likely cover you for replacement if something goes wrong. But if you haven’t bought it yet, I'd suggest looking at motherboards from other brands. It's safer!
I’ve had my ASRock board for about three months now paired with a 7700. Just curious, how would I be covered by ASRock or AMD if it fails?
