I have a Be Quiet Pure Power 12 M 1000W PSU, and I accidentally damaged the 12VHPWR cable that came with it. This cable connects from the PSU (which has 2x 8-pin connectors) to my RTX 5070 GPU (12+4 pin connector). I'm considering replacing it with a Corsair Premium 600W PCIe 5.0 12VHPWR cable that I found online. This cable is said to be compatible with Corsair RMX, HXi, etc., using 2x Type-4 connectors. My question is: Can I safely use the Corsair cable with my Be Quiet PSU, or would that be risky? Are the pinouts likely to be different even if the connectors seem similar? I'm worried about damaging my GPU, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Don't even think about it! Mixing cables can lead to frying something important. I suggest checking with Be Quiet for a replacement cable—better safe than sorry.
No way! You could end up damaging your GPU. It's best to buy a replacement from Be Quiet—they usually have them available or can help you find one that fits correctly.
It's really not a good idea to mix power cables between different brands. The Corsair cable is designed specifically for Corsair PSUs, and using it with your Be Quiet unit could lead to serious issues. I recommend contacting Be Quiet for a replacement cable or looking for a custom one that's confirmed to work with your PSU.
Definitely not a great move to try that. You risk frying your equipment if the pin configurations differ. Stick to what the manufacturer recommends for your PSU.
Honestly, I wouldn't risk it. The connectors might look the same, but the pinouts are almost certainly different. If it does fit, it might not work correctly. Just get a replacement from Be Quiet and save yourself the headache later.
Exactly! You really want to avoid potential damage to your GPU or PSU.
