Can I use a different PCI-e cable for my FSP Hydro G Pro PSU?

I recently lost one of the PCIe 8 pin cables for my FSP Hydro G Pro power supply, and I really need it to connect my 5070ti graphics card. I found a replacement cable on Amazon that says it works with Asus, EVGA, and Seasonic, but it doesn't mention FSP. The pin layout looks similar, but I'm not sure if I can trust that. Are there any other factors I should consider before attempting to use this cable? I really don't want to risk damaging my GPU!

It's really risky to use that cable. FSP cables aren't generally interchangeable with others, and they have different pin-outs that can lead to serious issues. It's best to reach out directly to FSP for an official replacement. They can guide you on the right cable to use, and it's the safest bet to protect your GPU!

What should I do to get a replacement from FSP? I definitely don’t want to throw away my PSU just for a cable.
