Can I Use a Docking Station and a KVM Switch to Share Monitors Between My Work and Personal PC?

I'm exploring a solution to set up my work and personal PC with fewer monitors due to limited space at home. Currently, I use a Dell WD19 docking station for my work laptop, but I'm curious if I can connect my personal PC to this docking station or if I need a different approach. Ideally, I want to consolidate my setup from four monitors down to two, and I'm looking for suggestions on the best way to switch between the two computers using the same monitors. Any advice is appreciated!

Absolutely, you can connect your personal PC to the docking station just like your work laptop. Just plug it in, and you should be good to go! But keep in mind that you might be short on ports, depending on your setup.

Oh, I see! I didn't realize a PC could be connected to a docking station since it's primarily for laptops. That’s actually helpful!
