I'm dealing with a Brother printer that doesn't have specific drivers for macOS 26 (Tahoe). Brother suggests using AirPrint, but I know that Printix isn't compatible with AirPrint. I'm wondering if anyone has tried using a Generic PostScript driver with these Brother printers, and if it actually works?

I get what you're saying! But keep in mind that Microsoft is moving towards Mopria, which is kind of a polished version of AirPrint. I mean, that's the direction the industry seems to be heading, whether we like it or not.
Honestly, this whole "let's just use AirPrint" idea is getting really frustrating. It seems like a poor excuse for not having proper driver support. Centralized printing is a serious need for many organizations—people who suggest just turning on AirPrint might not understand the consequences, especially when it comes to tracking print usage!
