I'm planning to upgrade my CPU to a Ryzen 9 9950X3D, and I already have a B650 Tomahawk WiFi motherboard. I'm sure the CPU will fit, but I'm wondering if this motherboard is good enough for it. Is it going to handle the upgrade well?

The motherboard should handle the 16 cores without a problem. Out of curiosity, what tasks are you planning to use it for?
You'll definitely want to update the BIOS before you swap out the CPUs, but the B650 Tomahawk is a solid choice for your upgrade. It should handle the Ryzen 9 9950X3D just fine!

I do a lot of professional video editing, and while I game too, that's why I'm going for the X3D. I could manage with a 9800X3D, but I want the best performance since I’ll make the money back on my work.
