Can I use a single 12V 2×6 pin cable with dual 8-pin connectors for my GPU?

I'm working on my setup with a Powercolor Reaper 9070xt GPU, which requires two 8-pin connectors for power. My PSU, an MSI MPG A850GS PCIE5 850W, has three 8-pin outputs, but two are currently in use for my CPU. I have a cable that outputs 600W at 12V with a 2x6 connector on one end and dual 8-pin connectors on the other. Is it safe to connect both 8-pin connectors from this cable directly to my GPU, or should I only use one of them and the other 8-pin cable from the PSU?

You should be fine plugging both 8-pins into your GPU from the 12V 2x6 cable. The GPUS are designed to handle that kind of power without an issue, just make sure your PSU can deliver the wattage needed.

I saw a video that mentioned it might be safer to use one from the dual connector and the other from a separate 8-pin cable. Just to spread the load a bit, you know?
