I'm currently using a 128GB SSD, but I'm looking to add a second one. Unfortunately, my motherboard doesn't have an extra slot for another internal SSD. I heard that I could buy an external NVMe enclosure and connect it via USB. I found an enclosure that looks good, and I'm considering pairing it with a 512GB NVMe SSD. Can I just connect these to my USB port and be good to go? Thanks for any help!

Yes, you can definitely use an external NVMe SSD through a USB enclosure! However, consider whether your motherboard has SATA ports because buying a SATA SSD might be a simpler and more cost-effective option. Do you know your motherboard model? If not, you can use a program like HWInfo to find that out.

I just checked, and my motherboard is an ASUS G11CD-K. I guess that gives me some options!
