I heard from my coworker, who works as a chef, that Intel CPUs and AMD GPUs don't work well together. However, I found out that they can be used in the same system. Is my coworker mistaken about this?

Just jumping in to agree with everyone else—your coworker is definitely mistaken.
Yeah, there's no problem at all in using an AMD GPU with an Intel CPU. They function just fine together!
Your coworker is completely wrong. Intel and AMD components can work together without any issues.
In my experience, I've found that Intel CPUs are great for stability, while AMD is perfect for upgrades. You can use either with either brand of GPU without issues.
You can definitely mix and match. Just keep in mind that if you want to use Smart Access Memory, it's better to have both an AMD CPU and GPU. But otherwise, they run well together!
You can combine any CPU with any GPU. However, if you use an AMD Ryzen CPU with a Radeon GPU, you might get a slight performance boost due to Smart Access Memory, which is nice to consider!

Thanks for the confirmation, that's what I thought!
