I'm trying to find out if I can add external RAM to my MSI Katana 17 laptop since all the internal slots are already filled. I'm running Windows 11 Pro and I want to know if there's any way to connect RAM externally.

Technically, you could use an external device, but it's not a good idea. The RAM needs to be close to the CPU, and any USB connection would be way too slow compared to standard RAM speeds.
You can definitely connect external drives if that’s what you mean. Just make sure you have a usable USB port that’s fast enough!
Hey, just to clarify, are you talking about external RAM? Because that's not really a thing for laptops.
Just a quick heads up, whenever you make changes to your system, ensure your data is backed up. It's always a good practice!
Unfortunately, laptops can't really utilize external RAM like you would with a USB drive. The most practical option for upgrading your RAM is to swap out the internal modules. Anything used externally would be significantly slower than what your CPU can handle.
