Can I Use Four RAM Sticks with My Ryzen 5 5600X?

I'm currently running a Ryzen 5 5600X with 32GB of RAM (2x 16GB DDR4 3600). I'm looking to upgrade to 64GB and I'm wondering if I can achieve this by adding two more sticks to make it 4x 16GB without losing performance. Is there any advantage to going for a 64GB kit with just 2 sticks instead?

You'll likely be fine using 4 RAM sticks, especially if they match in specs with what you already have. My Ryzen 9 can handle 128GB with 4x32GB sticks without any issues for over a year. Just make sure your motherboard supports it.

Is there any way to test the quality of the IMC without just trying it out?
