I know this might seem like a basic question, but I'm curious if it's still acceptable to use KDE themes, cursors, or icons in GNOME. I haven't found a nice one that fits my wallpaper yet. Is it possible to use something like Kvantum as well? I mean, I understand it's a different desktop environment, but what are the boundaries here?

Yes, you can definitely use KDE themes! I personally use the Breeze cursor theme on my XFCE environment, and it works just fine. Just make sure to follow any licensing terms if you decide to share your setup.

Sure, it might work, but keep in mind that KDE themes might not fully integrate with GNOME. They may only work partially unless there’s a specific GNOME version available. Just try it out and see how it looks!

Honestly, use whatever looks good to you! There's no strict rule against mixing and matching themes between desktop environments, so go ahead and experiment with what fits your style.
