Can I Use My G-Sync Monitor with a Radeon GPU?

Hey everyone! I'm totally new to building PCs, and I'm trying to figure out something important. I live in Japan, and I'm hoping to build my own gaming rig soon. I currently have a GigaCrysta monitor that supports NVIDIA G-Sync, which I bought for my laptop that has an NVIDIA GPU, but I'm worried about compatibility with a new Radeon GPU like the AMD Ryzen 7 7600X and Radeon 7800XT I'm considering. I have no idea how G-Sync works, and I'm hoping you can help me understand:

1. Can I connect my G-Sync monitor to a Radeon GPU? Will it display anything?
2. If it's not compatible, what would be some good NVIDIA alternatives, or is it worth just getting a new monitor altogether? Thanks!

It really depends on the specific model of your monitor. If your GigaCrysta is an older model, it might have a G-Sync module that won’t work with AMD GPUs at all. Before you decide, check the exact model number.
