Hey everyone, I'm curious if there's a way to use my IDE on my phone. Specifically, I want to have everything I have on my laptop synced with my phone. Is this achievable?

You could check out code-server on GitHub. It allows you to host a dev environment on your PC and access it through your phone's browser. Pretty neat solution!

Honestly, coding in bed sounds fun, but sometimes you just need to step back and enjoy life a bit! 😂

A few years back, I tried to recompile VSCode to work on Samsung DeX, but ran into some issues with remote coding. Not sure what the options are like now, but there might be new ways.

You can definitely run your IDE on a phone! I've got Termux installed on mine and I SSH into my homelab, which works out great. I use Neovim for coding on the go. Also, there's a VSCode mobile app for both Android and iPhone. Honestly, SSH-ing into a proper machine is probably your best bet since Termux lacks some packages.

Yes, it's totally possible! VSCode has a mobile app, and you can sync projects using any version control system like Git. Super easy to set up!

Exactly! I travel a lot, and honestly, I can verify my builds directly from my phone without needing my laptop. It’s super handy when ideas strike and I'm not at my desk.
