Hey everyone! I have a gaming laptop that's connected to an external monitor, and I was wondering if there's a way to use my laptop itself as a second monitor. Is that possible?

If your laptop is connected to the same WiFi network as your source PC, try using the 'Connect to a wireless display' option that appears when you hit Windows + P. It can allow you to connect your laptop as a display.

You might also want to check Windows display settings. With both your laptop and monitor, you can choose to extend the desktop instead of mirroring it. Just drag your windows to whichever display you want.

Just to clarify, are you aiming to extend your desktop so it shows on both your monitor and laptop? If your laptop is only showing on the external monitor, that might be the issue.

Absolutely, you can make it work! Just press Windows + P and choose 'Extend' from the options. This will allow your laptop to act as an additional display alongside your external monitor.

If you’re trying to connect a second laptop as a monitor, that could be confusing. Make sure you're not losing the display on your laptop when connecting the external one. You can also try using software like spacedesk to help with this!
